Hello! 

When you are reading this you probably know at least one of us... but just in case you missed some basics: We're Julia (24) and Sina (22) two sisters from Germany who are two massive fantasy geeks (above all Potterheads). But besides that we also love adventuring, exploring, trying new foods and metal music. Years ago we hatched the plan to travel from Germany to Australia without a plane. A war and a pandemic later we adapted our plans, but our motivation stayed the same. Now we are finally making our way from Germany to Australia and then also New Zealand, mainly over land. Our Quest: bringing the one Ring (which we bought in Scotland) to Mordor (set in New Zealand). However, we are a lot more like Merry and Pippin instead of Frodo and Sam. We hope we cause less destruction, will not be captured by Orks but still have a lot of fun. 

This blog will be a mix of a dairy, a fantasy story and a  list of our favourite recipes we found on the way (we love eating nearly as much as hobbits do). And of course it will be very geeky. To fully understand this blog it is thus highly recommended to read or at least watch Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.
