Departure Day T-2

Thirst for adventure: 100%

The party is ready to leave the shire! The bags are packed, and both seasons of Shadow and Bone are downloaded to rewatch on the train. Now just the food and the laptop are missing (will pack that tomorrow).

We spent the past weekend at Magiccon. Our home and absolutely favourite convention. That the con was our last weekend before departure was of course just a coincidence. We would not miss it for the world. It was an amazing weekend and we had the chance to say goodbye to our Confamily.

Usually, this is the time for con blues, but this year we are using these days to prepare for our adventure ... and finish the cosplay that we did not manage to finish before the Con.

On Thursday morning we will depart on dragon back into the sunrise. Well, nearly dragon back more like a really fast horse. Train, we will leave by train. But the German trains are about as reliable as a wild dragon, so that still counts.

We are in high spirits and like Bilbo "quite ready for another adventure!".
